New In- Smashbox Canada

Hello Gorgeous!

People ask me all the time, "what is the best thing about blogging?", and I always reply with, "getting to try amazing new products". Today is no exception, as I am thrilled to share some of the new Smashbox Canada products with you. Smashbox has always been a beauty fave of mine, and over the last year, I feel like Smashbox has been killing it with their new releases. Today, I can't wait for you to learn about the new eye shadow palettes and the new Studio Skin 15 Hour Hydrating Foundation.
When I found out Smashbox was working with star Shay Mitchell to create seven eye shadow palettes I could hardly contain my excitement! I was overwhelmed with anticipation to try these out. There are five of these beautiful palettes below so let's get started!
First up is the Bold Shadow Palette and BOLD it is! The colours in this palette are electric! With highly pigmented colours this palette is perfect for making a statement. A little colour goes a long way with the bold palette and I am actually in love with the green shade. I find I can use a little or a lot to make my look unforgettable.
The Golden Hour is just what it says! A gorgeous mix of metallic shades, including golds, and bronzes, this palette is sure to sell out. I am loving playing with the metallic shades to create a great day time look.
To segue off of the Golden Hour palette this Metallic Palette below offers a gorgeous assortment shades that can take you from a day to night look easily. The gold colour on the far left has been my go-to shade for daytime lately. The great thing about these palettes is that you can easily take one in your purse. They are quite compact, but pack a lot of product, so feel free to travel with them. This way you'll always be able to touch up on the go.
The Smoky Palette allows you to create the perfect smoky eye look using the earthy grey tones. You can amp up your smoky eye using the darker tones like grey/black.  If you're like me and you prefer a more toned down smoky eye than definitely use the pinky brown tones, with a pop of the deep burgundy.
Last up is the Softlight Palette which will give you the perfect candle lit glow. The pink and  light beige tones are the perfect amount of colour to give you a natural glow. If I have to play favourites, this palette might be it!
I am definitely obsessed with these Smashbox eye shadow palettes. I want them all! You can find these at your local Sephora, or Beauty Boutique in Shoppers Drug Mart.

For the grand Smashbox finale of the day, we have the new Studio Skin 15 Hour Hydrating Foundation. This foundation is oil-free and claims to provide 15 hour coverage, so I put it to the test! I have NEVER been this blown away by a foundation before. The Studio Skin goes on smooth (I like to use a beauty blender), hides imperfections, and is sweat/water resistant.  I love how I can build it up to provide more coverage for those areas of my skin that need it, under my nose, and on my chin. The Studio Skin is available in 22 shades, and Smashbox uses a flashbox lighting lab to test out each shade in all different types of light. This ensures that your correct shade won't change colour as the light changes during your day. I can't recommend this foundation enough!
I can't wait to hear what you think of the new Smashbox products, as always let me know what you're loving.
